Customer Service & Dispatch Manager - Part time

Must be available at least two days a week.

My Friend Alice is an online fashion store located in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. In the past two years, we've built a wonderful reputation for 5 star service to our many customers around Australia. Now, we are looking for a super friendly, customer focused individual to join our team.

What you will be doing?

  • Retail sales - helping customers in our new Penrith store.
  • Checking in stock arrivals from our suppliers.
  • Running the warehouse to ensure that all orders are being processed, fulfilled and dispatched correctly and quickly.
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy, that means a lot of moving stock and boxes!
  • Answering the phone and emails from customers, ensuring their concerns are addressed quickly.
  • Processing returns and refunds quickly and efficiently.
  • Managing gifts and packaging suppliers, to ensure smooth running of dispatch. 


Where to next?

A flair for writing, and/or graphic design, will see the candidate given opportunity to assist the Social Media team in a creative role. There will be ample opportunity to assist with developing key online publishing skills.

Who is the ideal candidate?

  • Experience in retail or customer service roles preferred.
  • Computer literate, experience in web-based content management systems a plus.
  • Fast learner, able to learn how to use our online order processing system quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communications skills both on the phone and in person
  • Hard working, you'll need to keep the warehouse clean and tidy, this includes physical work moving boxes.
  • Organised – the role requires someone who is system orientated and super organised to keep everything running like clockwork. 
  • A Communications Degree or similar will be well regarded.
