“Love it or return it” 14 Day Return Policy

My Friend Alice guarantee a ‘Love it or return it’ return and refund policy.

We absolutely want you to find the process of building a beautiful wardrobe fast and convenient when shopping online with us. However, we know, that sometimes, what you fell in love with online isn’t quite the love of your life when it arrives! Some things are just not going to look 100% fabulous when you actually get to try them on.

And we want this to be real love, you know, the lasting kind.

We’ll give you 14 days to try on your items, and decide if they suit you.

You may return the items bought online within 14 days of purchase for a full refund on full priced items. For all sale items, we offer an exchange, refund or credit when returned within 14 days.

Please note: the refund is for the item/s and does not include either of the postage charges. If you have claimed free shipping for a purchase over $150, the postage value is $7.95, and will not be refunded when you return your item. 

No problem on refunding your returns.

Can't decide? Not sure if it will fit? We're happy if you order more styles, try them on, and return what you don't want. No hassles - we can refund to your credit card the full amount for items returned. So long as they come back good as new, within 14 days.

Firstly, our guarantee is that the brands we support are beautifully made, from beautiful fabrics. But more than that, we want to free up your time to do more of what you love. New! Flat rate $7.95 return labels included with your order.

Alice is now able to offer a flat rate return label to our customers. You will find this label with your delivery. When you use it to post back items, there is no need to pay at the post office. 

However, you must have your item scanned at the Post Office, and you must KEEP your tracking receipt. This helps us track any slow returns to us. 

When you return for a refund, we will deduct $7.95 from your refund. 
When you return for a swap, we will cover the cost of the swapped item to you, but ask you to pay $7.95 for the returned item only.

How do I return products to My Friend Alice?

Have handy your email address, and MFA order number (on your invoice). Just fill in the form, and we'll log you return request.  

We will send details on how to return, the important thing is to hold onto your tracking number, so we can track the item coming back. 

The return postage is your responsibility, however, we will pay for the postage to you when a replacement product is requested. Feel free to use the $7.95 return label included. We'll deduct this amount when you return for a refund.

Of note, to return an item, the items can not have been worn or washed or dry cleaned. All labels must be attached, and the garment should be return in an “as new” condition. Please also ensure you take care to protect the garment when posting.

What if a product is faulty?

Sometimes items don't wear as expected, or we missed a fault in the fabric before we sent it to you - which always embarrassing for us! If this happens, we'll send a replacement, and send you a postage paid label to return it to us.

So if the item didn’t make it to you in perfect condition, please call our customer service immediately on 1300 940 819 or e-mail customercare@myfriendalice.com.au to let us know and we can either send out a post bag for you to return the product in or refund your postage when the parcel arrives. If available you can request a replacement or refund for the product.


If you would like to exchange an item for a the same style, but different size, then we’d like to arrange this asap to ensure we can swap the size or style quickly. Outside of business hours, it's best to purchase again the size of the item you would like, to avoid missing out on your size. We'll refund the original item. Or during business hours you can call us or email to arrange a swap. Any additional swaps incur a $7.95 postage fee. 

If you don’t love it – send it back!

Shopping online should a wonderful experience each time with MY FRIEND ALICE. Like your favourite designer boutique, we aim to ensure you always have something to wear – and also, that that something is something special.

To save you time, don’t hesitate to order two sizes if you are not sure, and order a few styles. Keep what fits and suits you, and return what doesn’t – it’s that easy.
