New brand to My Friend Alice, Phyllis & Mimosa, specialises in beautiful silk garments that make you feel nothing less than gorgeous. 

Choose a top in a bright coloured silk, my favourite forest green maxi dress or gorgeous printed designs, perfect for wearing on that tropical holiday that you have planned (I wish!). 

What I love about Phyllis & Mimosa, apart from the simply gorgeous clothing, is that the brand is native to Australia. 

Designer, Amanda Gilham, launched the label after years working in fashion, designing for a host of successful brands.

She drew on her travel experience and her love of silk as she created her first line.

She established the Phyllis & Mimosa Design Studio in 2009 and launched her first store in Byron Bay in 2010. 

That store is now one of four, with the most recent opening up in Noosa last year.
